As Peter & Pals matures, I’ve really come to appreciate how much time in nature benefits both us and our dogs. Getting outside gives us a chance to step away from the screens, reset, and connect with our dogs in a completely different environment.
If you’ve ever watched me take your dog on a hike—whether they’re off-leash, on a long line, or using another tool—and thought, “I want to be able to do that with my dog!” this is for you.
Guided Pack Hikes are a chance to learn how to navigate the outdoors with your dog while having me there to guide you.
You’ll join me and Peter (depending on your dog), and we’ll:
Warm up together before hitting the trail
Walk side-by-side while working on neutrality
Learn when and how to reward your dog
Practice holding your dog accountable without creating unnecessary conflict
Learn how to set your dog up for success in challenging situations
We’ll tackle a 2.8-mile loop at Kennedy Grove (1.5-2hrs), with hikes scheduled on alternating Mondays at 9 AM and Saturdays at 8 AM.
It’s a great way to get outside, build your skills, and become more confident adventuring with your dog—all while learning alongside a small group of fellow dog people. 🐾
