Who are we?
Hi, I’m Nerice, and this is Peter—my pittie sidekick. While my professional background is in Operations within the tech world, my heart has always belonged to animals. Over the years, I’ve volunteered and fostered with several animal rescues and even had the privilege of raising a puppy for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Peter has also had quite the career himself—he’s proudly served as a foster brother to 10 pups in just the past two years.
I’ve had the joy of working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is how to read a dog’s body language. Understanding what a dog is trying to communicate allows me to build trust, create positive experiences, and ensure every pup feels safe and cared for.
This business grew from my lifelong love of animals and my desire to support pet parents. I know walks aren’t always easy, and I want to bring both structure and joy to make them more enjoyable for dogs and their humans alike. I also understand how busy life can get, and sometimes we all need an extra helping hand.
Outside of dog walking, Peter and I love to hike, get creative with arts and crafts, and explore local wineries. We’ve been part of the El Sobrante/Richmond community for over seven years, and we’re excited to meet more of our neighbors (two- and four-legged alike).

I’m not your average dog walker—I’m here to give your pup more than just a stroll around the block. While others might get distracted, your dog has my full focus and care from start to finish. I make every walk a chance to reinforce good habits, build confidence, and keep tails wagging. Whether your dog is well-trained or still learning, I bring the patience, structure, and consistency that turn an ordinary walk into something special.

We treat structured walks like a core camp activity—part hike, part class, and all fun! Unlike a casual stroll, a structured walk gives your pup a chance to use both their brain and their body. With positive reinforcement as our guide, we help pups/dogs learn important skills like leash pressure and engagement, all while exploring the world around them. The result? A calmer, more confident dog who feels accomplished after every trek. Think of it as a daily camp session that shapes good habits, builds focus, and makes tails wag long after the walk is over!

Absolutely! Every dog, regardless of training or temperament, is welcome. If leash pressure is new to them, we’ll start simple—even just in the backyard. No matter where your pup is on their journey, I’d love to meet them and help them grow at their own pace.

While El Sobrante and Orinda are my home base, I’m happy to travel further within the East Bay. Just let me know your location, and we can chat about a travel fee per mile to find a solution that works for you.

Yes! I know life doesn’t pause on weekends or holidays, and neither do pets. I’m happy to provide walks and sitting during those times. Just keep in mind that holiday bookings may fill up quickly, so it’s always best to reach out early to reserve your spot.

A meet-and-greet is a short visit where I come by to meet you and your pup before their first solo walk or sitting. It’s a chance for you to put a face to the name, and for your dog to get comfortable with me in a low-pressure setting. Even if your pup isn’t reactive, it’s a great way to practice introductions and build trust right from the start.

All I’ll need is your pet’s feeding schedule, their usual daily routine, food and treats, and a cozy spot for me to sleep. That way, I can keep things as familiar and comfortable as possible for your furry family while you’re away.
